Receptionist

Position Summary

The Receptionist at Sycamore Integrated Health is the control center of the practice. During patient hours, you are responsible for managing the flow of patients through the clinic. This includes processing patients, rooming and directing both patients and providers, scheduling appointments, processing payments, and handling phone calls. During off hours, the receptionist duties include administrative work such as maintaining patient files, entering demographic and insurance information, and participating in activities to help grow and evolve the clinic. 

 

As the first point of contact in the clinic, we demand a high degree of professionalism from our receptionist. Performance Objectives

Rehab Assistant

Position Summary

The Rehab Assistant at Sycamore Integrated Health plays a key role in the treatment of our patients. Our Rehab Assistants are responsible for progressing the patients through the therapy plans outlined by the providers, ultimately helping the patients achieve their functional goals. The Rehab Assistant must have the capacity to discern each patient’s current ability levels and adeptly progress them through various stretches, exercises and passive therapies as their condition improves.

Rehab Assistant

Physical Therapist

Position Summary

The Physical Therapist at Sycamore Integrated Health is accountable for the overall clinical quality, integrity, and service excellence of the Physical Therapy department within the practice. The Physical Therapist evaluates and treats patients of all ages, modifying plans of care as appropriate. This person serves as a role model in the delivery of professional services and as a clinical resource for staff and patients.

Massage Therapist

Position Summary

The Massage Therapist at Sycamore Integrated Health provides therapeutic massage therapy services to patients. Therapists assess patient needs and inquire about contraindications (e.g., allergies, high blood pressure, and pregnancy) before beginning service, and frequently check with the patient throughout treatment to promote comfort and ensure effectiveness of the therapy. The Massage Therapist takes ownership of their role by keeping up to date with current techniques and modalities related to their field of work. 

 

As a  therapy provider within the clinic, we demand a high degree of professionalism from our Massage Therapist. Massage Therapist

Case Manager

Position Summary

The Case Manager at Sycamore Integrated Health serves as a liaison to our patients from their first visit all the way through the completion of their treatment plan.  The Case Manager’s primary job is to set the stage for success for our patients by effectively drawing out the functional goals at the new patient visit and facilitating the acceptance of the final treatment plan at the report of findings. The Case Manager is also responsible for aiding in patient retention and treatment plan completion by monitoring progress and following up with the patients throughout the course of care. 

 

As a  main point- person in the clinic, we demand a high degree of professionalism from our Case Manager. It is important to us that this person is aligned with the vision, mission and core values of the practice. We are committed to providing the highest level of customer service to our patients, and the Case Manager must embody that commitment at all times.

This person is adept at identifying specific treatment plans that best address the needs of the patient, and is successful in inciting inspiration and discipline in the patients to ensure the desired results.

Chiropractor

Position Summary

The Chiropractors at Sycamore Integrated Health co-manage patients with the medical team by diagnosing and treating patients whose health problems are associated with the body’s muscular, nervous and skeletal systems. As a provider in a high-volume clinic, the Chiropractor must be adept at efficiently managing and treating patients while not sacrificing the patient relationship or quality of the patient visit. 

 

As a provider and leader within the clinic, we demand a high degree of professionalism from our Chiropractor. Chiropractor

Medical Assistant

Position Summary

The Medical Assistant at Sycamore Integrated Health serves as an assistant to our Nurse Practitioner. The Medical Assistant is responsible for aiding the NP for all appointments and procedures. This includes preparing the room for the upcoming procedure, taking vitals and case history information,  cleaning up after the procedure, charting on the patient, adding charges and diagnosis codes when appropriate, assisting in routing and scheduling the appointments, and tracking the patients’ progress through care. 

 

As someone who is involved with direct patient care, we demand a high degree of professionalism from our Medical Assistants. It is important to us that this person is aligned with the vision, mission and core values of the practice. We are committed to providing the highest level of customer service to our patients, and the Medical Assistant must embody that commitment at all times.

Performance Objectives

Nurse Practitioner

Position Summary

The Nurse Practitioner at Sycamore Integrated Health serves as the primary care manager within the practice. The NP is responsible for new patient evaluations, care plan proposals, and progress evaluation throughout the course of care. Additionally, the NP effectively utilizes a multi-disciplinary approach to helping patients with their health conditions through traditional medicine, physical medicine, chiropractic, and healthy lifestyle recommendations.

 

As the lead provider and a leader within the clinic, we demand a high degree of professionalism from our Nurse Practitioner. It is important to us that this person is aligned with the vision, mission and core values of the practice. We are committed to providing the highest level of customer service to our patients, and the Nurse Practitioner must embody that commitment at all times.

Account Manager

Position Summary

The Account Manager at Sycamore Integrated Health is responsible for the financial management of our patient accounts. This includes drawing up and modifying financial agreements, working with patient insurance benefits, creating and sending statements, and tracking some financial statistics for the practice.

As a point-person for our clinic, we demand a high degree of professionalism from our Account Manager. We take pride in our cost transparency and we work with each patient's financial circumstance, so it is important for the Account Manager to go above and beyond to find solutions on behalf of our patients.

Performance Objectives 

  • Creating and modifying financial agreements for treatment plans
